If you are a passionate marathon runner and have always wondered how you could check the Havana Marathon off your list of international marathons…well, wait no longer.

Insight Cuba presents a unique opportunity for U.S. runners to legally visit Cuba, a country off limits to Americans for almost 50 years, and participate in the Havana Marathon.  Insight Cuba, largely known for its incredible people-to-people tours, has crafted a unique itinerary for marathon runners centered around the event.

The Havana Marathon (Marabana Marathon) and half marathon, will be held on Sunday, November 18, 2012. Insight Cuba has created a 5 day/ 4 night tour that will run from November 15 - 19. This Cuba tour presents a unique opportunity to see Havana in a way most Americans never dreamed possible.

As if running a marathon in Havana wasn't incredible enough, you'll experience unique access to people and places the average tourist rarely sees.  Get together with other Cuban runners, meet with disabled children at a school, visit Havana's most iconic sites, and so much more.
